• Craig Simmons

    Craig is our Lead Consultant and Director. A highly respected strategic thinker and problem solver, Craig was previously Head of Debt Advice and Credit Policy and Strategy at the governmental body, the Money and Pensions Service. Here he was responsible for the debt advice and credit pillars of the UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing and notably secured from HM Treasury an 80% increase in funding on pre-pandemic levels for debt advice.

    Craig has a wealth of experience of improving support for people in financial difficulty and for those in vulnerable circumstances. He has changed policy and practices for the better at organisations such as HM Treasury, the Financial Conduct Authority and, the debt charity, Money Advice Scotland. These changes include the Breathing Space Scheme and the FCA Consumer Credit Regulatory Regime.

    Craig is also Chair of the Evnia Charitable Trust, a Board Director of the Money Advice Liaison Group and panel member at the Advertising Standards Authority.

  • James Hall

    A business leader in his own right, James is an expert in building accessible services for those who cannot access via conventional methods. He is a key advocate of universal design.

    James has worked extensively with public, private and third sector bodies to ensure the needs of disabled and vulnerable people are at the heart of how services are created and delivered. James can help you comply with both the spirit and the letter of the rules public bodies must comply with and the regulations other organisations must follow.

    He is the pioneer behind The Empathy Lab; a training package to help staff understand the reality of being a person with a disability or other accessibility issues.

    James worked for several years in local government, designing web services, before stepping out into private industry from 2010 onwards.

  • Emma Patrizio

    Emma has more than a decade of experience in designing customer facing services. This includes for well known brands such as BT and Mastercard.

    Those who know Emma all point to her warmth, collaborative approach and positivity in getting the job done.

    Expert in creating impactful visuals that will better engage your customers and stakeholders, she can both produce your material itself or create clear guidelines which your staff members can use. This can cover customer engagement, how you present to staff and stakeholders, marketing and branding.

  • Erel Onojobi

    Erel is an accomplished consultant, project manager and social entrepreneur. She has set up several micro-enterprises, including Ministry of Thrift, supporting G15 housing associations on financial inclusion. Erel also established Set Fashion Free, a youth organisation, in collaboration with the V&A, British Museum, and London Southbank University, as well as Little STEMS, in partnership with Oxford and Imperial Universities.

    Erel’s experience spans corporate financial services such as Barclays Banking Group, and charities and non-profits like Toynbee Hall, London Plus Credit Union and Citizens Advice. She has a wealth of experience in driving impactful initiatives in the fields of health equity and financial inclusion.

    Most recently Erel served as Financial Inclusion Lead, focusing on race equity, at Impact on Urban Health, within the Guys’ & St. Thomas’ Foundation. In this role, she designed and managed a portfolio of grant investments totaling £3.5 million.

    A well respected and experienced content and communication professional, Gary can provide expert guidance in engaging consumers and other stakeholders.

    Across more than 18 years working in editorial, content strategy and content design roles, Gary has built a track record of delivering engagement and revenue for some of the UK’s biggest online brands, including Virgin Media, Sony Entertainment, Press Association and Hello! Magazine.

    Gary also worked for the government-backed Money Advice Service. As well as content creation, here he focused on commercial and non-commercial partnerships, high-profile stakeholder engagement and a variety of public speaking and interactive events.
